Smeal Branch - German Heritage

(1)  Daniel Smeal, a farmer, resided in Boggs Township.  His farm is shown on a map at page 186-E-7 of Caldwell's 1878 Atlas of Clearfield County, Pennsylvania (Revised Edition 1998) published by the Clearfield County Historical Society.
(4) According to an obituary placed in The Clearfield Progress, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, Thursday Evening, December 1, 1921, Jane D. Graham (Rankin) was born in Maine on November 28, 1858 and died on Wednesday, November 30, 1921.
